Medical Equipment Supplier in Thika

Buying medical equipment in Thika: the honest answer

Jodroc has one office, on Tom Mboya Street in Nairobi, and no separate branch in Thika. What makes it practical rather than theoretical to serve is distance: forty-five minutes via the Thika Superhighway is close enough that Jodroc's own vehicle, not a third-party courier, handles most deliveries here, the same way it does for Nakuru.

The town itself sits in Kiambu County, and Jodroc has already completed a full dental clinic fit-out in the same county, documented on the case studies page and referenced below, so "has Jodroc actually worked in this area before" has a real, checkable answer here rather than a general claim about coverage.

All ten equipment categories and the published consumables pricing are identical to Nairobi, and because the distance is short, a Thika order can sometimes include an engineer on the same trip as the delivery rather than a separate visit.

Medical and dental equipment, by category

The ten categories below are the same catalogue used for the Kiambu fit-out referenced further down this page, each carrying CE marking and ISO 13485 documentation sent before payment.

Dental chairs, delivery systems and autoclaves cover an operatory fit-out of the kind already completed nearby in Kiambu; examination tables, ECG machines and patient monitors cover a general clinic. The clinic equipment guide gives real setup cost ranges by room.

Delivery to Thika and Kiambu County via the Superhighway

Thika is roughly forty-five minutes from Jodroc's Nairobi base via the Thika Superhighway. Same-day delivery is available for most stocked consumables and small equipment ordered before 1:00 pm, and the same delivery window covers Juja, Ruiru, Kiambu, Limuru and Githunguri, since none of them add meaningful distance over Thika itself.

Large equipment is delivered by Jodroc's own vehicle to Kiambu County addresses rather than a courier, which is also how the dental clinic fit-out referenced below was installed and commissioned on site rather than only dropped off.

Consumables by the box or the carton

Jodroc stocks CE-certified consumables for dispatch alongside equipment orders or on a standalone monthly restocking schedule, with published box and carton pricing rather than a quote-on-request page.

Examination gloves run from KES 420 a box of 100 to KES 6,300 a carton of ten boxes, and syringes and needles from around KES 320 to KES 980 a box, the same published pricing as Nairobi. Same-day delivery applies to carton orders placed before 1:00 pm, the same cut-off as equipment.

A real fit-out in Kiambu County

Jodroc completed a full dental clinic setup in Kiambu County, new dental delivery units, an autoclave, digital X-ray and a suction system installed and commissioned as one project, documented on the Kiambu dental clinic fit-out case study. It is the closest real precedent on this site to what a new or renovating practice here can expect: the same equipment schedule, the same installation team, and the same forty-five minute drive from Nairobi that applies to every delivery to this corridor.

Service and support, close enough for a site visit

Because the Superhighway makes the round trip from Nairobi short, a commissioning visit or a repair for Thika and the rest of Kiambu County is one of the more straightforward site visits Jodroc's Nairobi workshop handles, closer in practice to a Nairobi call-out than a regional one. The full list of services runs to ten, from installation and commissioning through to relocation and decommissioning, all run from the same Tom Mboya Street base.
