Sterilisation & Infection Control
The sterilisation bay is the room an inspector looks at first, and the one piece of equipment that cannot be allowed to fail quietly. A Class B or N autoclave validated against a real cycle log, an ultrasonic cleaner and washer-disinfector ahead of it, and a pouch sealer and benching laid out so dirty and clean instruments never cross paths. Jodroc supplies the autoclave through to the sharps bins, and because a sterilisation failure is the kind of thing that closes a practice down for a day, installation includes commissioning the cycle and showing staff how the traceability log is meant to be kept.

Common questions
A Class N autoclave sterilises solid, unwrapped instruments only. A Class B autoclave adds a vacuum phase that pulls air out of hollow instruments, porous loads and wrapped pouches first, so it validates for a wider range of dental and surgical instruments and is the class most practices in Kenya are required to run.
An ultrasonic cleaner or washer-disinfector to remove debris before sterilisation, a pouch sealing machine for wrapped instruments, sterilisation benching to keep dirty and clean zones apart, and a cycle logging system so every load is traceable.
Yes. Autoclave validation and servicing are part of the same planned maintenance Jodroc runs for the rest of a practice's equipment, so the sterilisation cycle is checked on schedule rather than left until it fails.
