Nyeri Dental Practice Fit-Out

The brief

The clinic required a fully fitted dental operatory that could open immediately after commissioning. Equipment had to meet infection-control standards, be serviceable in Nyeri without specialist travel from Nairobi, and carry European CE or ISO certification. Jodroc was engaged to supply, install, and commission all clinical equipment.

Installation & commissioning

The Jodroc service team handled delivery, assembly, plumbing connections for the dental unit and suction system, electrical connections for the autoclave and X-ray unit, and final commissioning checks. Staff training on autoclave cycle protocols and handpiece maintenance was completed on-site before handover.

All equipment was commissioned to manufacturers’ specifications and tested under load before the clinic opened. A 12-month service contract covers routine maintenance and any warranty claims during the first year.

Outcome

The clinic opened on schedule with a full clinical suite. European CE-certified equipment meets Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) facility standards. The dental delivery unit’s integrated cuspidor, light, and instrument tray reduced the operatory footprint and simplified maintenance.
